Thomas Smith is an award-winning, Johns Hopkins-trained AI and Large Language Model expert with 14 years of experience. The New York Times called him a “veteran programmer” for his work on human-in-the-loop AI, and he has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, IEEE Spectrum and more.
Thomas served as an OpenAI Beta tester before the launch of ChatGPT, and has led an AI powered photography agency for 12 years. He sits on the board of the Digital Media Licensing Association and is a member of the National Press Photographers Association. Thomas lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley.
